Submission Guidelines
Thanks for your interest in contributing to our site! We're always looking for fresh perspectives and new voices. Please review the following guidelines before submitting your pitch or draft.
What We're Looking For
We accept submissions on a variety of topics, including [list 2-3 specific topics here, e.g., "personal finance," "productivity tips for remote workers," "sustainable living"]. Your content should offer practical advice, unique insights, or a fresh take on a familiar topic. We love articles that are well-researched, engaging, and genuinely helpful to our readers.
Submission Requirements
Originality: All submissions must be 100% original content that has not been published elsewhere, including on your own blog or website.
Length: We typically look for articles between 800-1,200 words.
Formatting: Please submit your article as a Google Doc. Use clear headings (H2, H3) to break up the text and make it easy to read.
Tone: Our tone is generally Philly culture.. Please write in a way that aligns with our style.
Links: You may include relevant, high-quality links to reputable sources to support your claims. However, please do not include promotional or affiliate links within the body of the article.
The Process
1. Submit a Pitch or Draft
You can send a completed draft or a pitch with a clear outline of your idea. If you're pitching, please include a brief summary of the article's main points and a few sentences about your background.
2. Editorial Review
Our editorial team will review your submission to ensure it aligns with our content and quality standards. We reserve the right to edit for clarity, grammar, and style. We will send you the edited version for your review and approval before publishing.
3. Publication & Bylines
If your submission is selected, we will schedule it for publication. You will receive a byline with a short bio (1-2 sentences) at the bottom of the article. You are welcome to include a link to your personal website or social media profile in your bio.
Please note: This is an unpaid opportunity. We believe in providing a platform for emerging writers and offer a byline and exposure to our audience in exchange for your contribution.
